Really welcoming pub from the staff to the locals. Had two meals here and both were excellent, chef is to be commended. Good beer on tap and dog friendly too. Lovely walk across from the pub up through a no through road to Shobdon churches and arches.

Helpful friendly staff, comfortable beds, quiet room, great place to stay as we were visiting our daughter and son in law. Great that the accommodation was separate from the main pub and restaurant.

Excellent home cooked food, the menu is not extensive but what's on there covers everyone's taste and it's all delicious and good value. The staff are friendly and the service is faultless. Good choice of local ales and wines.
